Job Summary
This position is responsible for front desk and administrative responsibilities with the Student Conduct office located at SSB 120. Each staff member is expected to uphold confidentiality with respect to all privileged communications and records. Duties include, but are not limited to, answering phones and greeting guests in a professional manner, assisting with scheduling appointments and meetings, processing email requests and documentation, providing support to staff, and attending scheduled training sessions and meetings.
JOB DUTIES
· Answer phones.
· Attend all Student Receptionist staff meetings and trainings.
· Schedule appointments for Student Conduct staff.
· Maintain Student Conduct general email inbox and respond to inquiries as appropriate.
· Enter case information into student conduct database.
· Receive sanction documentation and complete sanction receipt process.
· Schedule student appointments and sanctions as necessary.
· Ensure Student Conduct common spaces are clean and organized.
· Serve as first point of contact for the unit.
· Provide administrative support to Student Conduct staff including assisting with miscellaneous projects assigned.
· Perform other duties and functions as assigned by staff.
All student employees in the Dean of Students Office must maintain good academic (min. 2.0 cumulative GPA) standing. Staff must have maintained good disciplinary standing throughout their time as an ISU student and during their employment in Student Conduct. The employer will check academic and disciplinary status at the beginning and the end of each semester of employment. Candidates must have completed a full semester as a student at Illinois State University before applying.

Work Hours
The office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm. Availability will need to be within the office hours.
