Manage and create content for the Red Alert (X and Instagram) and Reggie Redbird (X, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, Facebook) social media accounts. Track, report and utilize social media analytics for the flagship athletics department social media accounts and track follower totals for the sport social media accounts. Collaborate and contribute to social media campaigns with individual teams, coaches and all administrative units to help tell an engaging and well-rounded story of the athletics department. Monitor student-athletes and coaches/staff social media accounts for safety purposes. Pitch, develop and execute creative content ideas in various mediums (photo, graphics, video, etc.). Keep a forward focus on trends. Archive photos and video content. Upload content to INFLCR for student-athletes/coach use. Utilize INFLCR, Slate and Talkwalker platforms. Monitor student interns on gamedays. Assist in coordination of creative content days for Illinois State’s 19 sports and cheerleading program. Take photos, videos, etc. on gamedays, meet days, etc. for Illinois State’s 19 sports. Other duties as assigned. As a part of your responsibilities, you will follow the regulations and guidelines of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the Missouri Valley Conference or the Missouri Valley Football conference, the Athletics Department, and Illinois State University -
